WHAT IS ZOOM ADVANCED POWER TEETH WHITENING?
Zoom AP is a clinic based treatment. The procedure is simple, after isolating your teeth from your gums and other soft tissues, a hydrogen peroxide gel is applied to your teeth which is activated with the Zoom lamp. This is often known as ‘laser whitening’. After 45 to 60 minutes your teeth are noticeably whiter, with an average of 6 shades whiter. The system is owned by Philips, so has a huge company behind the technology. One of the big things we hear in surgery is that patients are worried about the pain following treatment. Developments over the past 10 years mean that the system is practically sensitivity free, with most patients reporting that they didn’t feel a thing!
