Fern Bastow - Dental Nurse

Fern is a valued member of the dental nursing team at Burley Dental Suite. She is experienced in all aspects of dentistry, and enjoys every part of her role—from building relationships with patients to being part of a team that feels like family.

Fern has a natural ability to support nervous patients, helping them feel calm, comfortable and reassured throughout their dental journey. Her caring and approachable nature makes her a wonderful addition to the team, and she takes great pride in creating positive experiences for every patient who visits the practice.

Passionate about learning and developing her skills, Fern has completed additional qualifications with the British Dental Association (BDA) in radiography, as well as an ICE postgraduate course in CBCT imaging. She loves expanding her knowledge, developing new skills and embracing opportunities to continue growing within dentistry. Outside of the practice, Fern enjoys keeping active, exploring her creative side, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, and spending quality time with her family, friends, and her much-loved Cocker Spaniel.
