What is EMS Guided Biofilm Therapy?
Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) is a gentle approach to professional cleaning. A disclosing solution first shows up the plaque on your teeth, so nothing is missed. Warm water, air and a fine powder then lift it away, and any remaining hard deposits are cleared afterwards.
Many patients find it more comfortable than a traditional scale and polish, and it is a lovely way to start with a new dental practice.

What is included in the £100 new patient offer?
A comprehensive dental examination, 2 dental X-rays and an EMS Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) hygiene appointment. Booked separately, these would usually cost £167.
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes. We are welcoming new patients from Burley-in-Wharfedale, Ilkley, Otley and across Wharfedale. Call us on 01943 865600 to book.
What happens if I need further treatment?
If your dentist finds anything that needs attention, they will explain your options and costs before anything goes ahead. Any further treatment is charged separately.
How does Denplan work?
Denplan lets you spread the cost of your routine dental care with a monthly payment, from £20.50 a month. Our team can explain the plans and what each one covers.

Terms and conditions
- The offer price is £100 per new patient (usual price £167) at The Burley Dental Suite and includes a comprehensive dental examination, 2 dental X-rays and an EMS Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) hygiene appointment.
- The offer is for new patients only, one per patient. X-rays are taken where your dentist considers them clinically appropriate.
- Any further treatment is charged separately and will be discussed with you before it goes ahead.
- Denplan fees start from £20.50 a month and depend on the plan chosen. The practice will confirm the plan and fee that applies to you.
- Submitting the form is a request for contact only. It does not book an appointment or guarantee availability.
- The offer cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be used with another promotion unless the practice confirms otherwise. The Burley Dental Suite may amend or withdraw the offer where necessary.
- Your information will be handled in accordance with the practice privacy notice.
